What We Do

Breathe Easy Isle of Wight IOW

Breathe Easy Isle of Wight has been running since 1999. A friendly, warming and welcoming group

where like minded people can meet up socially and benefit from chatting to others who all have a Respiratory condition.

Our aim is to prevent Islanders having to manage their lung condition alone. We are here to chat over a cuppa, so why not contact us or pop along and see us at one of our meetings. Breathe Easy holds monthly meetings that are for anyone living with any chronic lung condition. Occasionally through the year we will hold additional meetings for lung specific conditions including Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). We also invite Respiratory Healthcare Professionals to some of our meetings to talk and answer questions from our members.

Fundraising

Breathe Easy is solely dependent on donations and funds raised for the Group. These funds help towards continued support to the Keep Active Programs and towards Respiratory Medical Equipment requested by the Respiratory Department at St Mary’s Hospital or by any Island GP Surgery or Health Centre.

If you would like to find out more about Breathe Easy then why not pop along and see us at

one of our meetings.

We look forward to seeing you.

Breathe Easy Isle of Wight.
